Meet TIKI VIBE
The Mermaid
StaSea began her music career in San Diego. Playing solo in local coffeeshops, like the Innerchange and Java Jungle, she quickly made her way into developing a full time band. Playing all the local hot spots along Pacific Beach and Mission Beach, her fan base grew. She recorded her first album in 2000 titled 360 Blue. She found a love affair with the steel drums and her friend and mentor 'Papa' Gerald Lawrence began teaching the Tenor Pan.
Today, she takes her experience from San Diego and Maui and brings a new take on old classics. Playing the steel drum, keyboard and guitar along with lead vocals, she is able to incorporate her originals into the set list along with well received covers from her new fans along the west coast of Florida.
Meeting Franklin & Sean was an instant success in infusing all the experience from these three individuals into a new vibe on the scene - the Tiki Vibe.
TIKI VIBE: The BASS Player
A Musical Journey
Franklin played the Chicago circuit for many years performing at venues such as Chicago House of Blues, Gateway Theatre, Vic Theatre, Thurston's, Cro Bar, Excalibur, Thirsty Whale and many more. Blessed to play and record with several great rock bands including Redd Barron, Apex, Stormbringer and Kill Train, he really had a drive for rock n roll.
How cool is this?
He grew up in back of one of the largest record stores in Chicagoland,
the "Crows Nest".
Moving to Florida in October 2020, he met StaSea in May 2021 and formed the band "Tiki Vibe". Shortly after, Sean, a hometown drummer also moved to Florida and joined the band. The chemistry is a perfect match!
TIKI VIBE
the DRUMMER
Sean has performed in LA clubs such as The Whiskey, The Roxy, and The Troubadour as the keyboardist for The Street Boys and in more recent years in the Chicago area with juniorjones and Rock Stetson as a drummer. Frank and Sean have been jamming on and off for decades and finally got in this band together with StaSea when they both moved here. Together they lay down the groove for StaSea and she takes it from there!
